You own your data
Your data belongs to your school. You can export or delete it at any time, fully and permanently.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide when setting up your school account: school name, contact details, student records, staff records, and financial transactions. We also collect usage data (pages visited, features used) to improve the platform.
2. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used solely to operate and improve ShuleXtra. This includes processing payments, generating reports, sending SMS notifications, and providing customer support. We do not use your data for advertising.
3. Data Storage & Security
All data is stored on servers based in East Africa with enterprise-grade encryption at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). We maintain daily encrypted backups with 30-day retention. Access is restricted to authorised ShuleXtra personnel only.
4. Third-Party Integrations
ShuleXtra integrates with third-party services (M-Pesa, Selcom, Snipe, NextSMS) to provide payment and messaging functionality. Each integration is subject to its respective provider's privacy policy. We only share the minimum data required for each function.
5. Your Rights
As the account holder, your school has the right to: access all data held, export data in standard formats (CSV/PDF), request data correction, and request permanent deletion of all data on account termination. Submit requests to info@shulextra.com.
6. Cookies
The ShuleXtra platform uses essential session cookies to keep you signed in. This marketing website sets no advertising or third-party analytics cookies; it uses only local storage to remember preferences such as your cookie choice, which you can record via the consent banner.
